Losing too much land when attacked

Is it just me or is the land lost in battle too high for my nation?

I usually win/lose 120 miles of land in my attacks, but I'm assuming my nation is larger.

Max land is stolen with well before 1800 purchased land, which is a base value of 75.

Seems right.
