My Desired Government hasn't change in what seems like too long - I can't say exactly, but I'd venture at least 4x has long as the longest before that.
Could it be a bug or is it just bad luck?

Well, would that desired .gov be communism? I'm not sure why, but it seems as if, with the ones that I've been talking to, that communism sticks around longer than the others.

Your current government is what they want, I assume? My people's desired government is transitional, but it is more profitable for me not to give them transitional. As such, they still desire transitional, even though the messaged first appeared about a month and a half ago (I think, but it was a while ago)

The desired gov is transitional (too). But I just go back and forth between Capitalism (for paying bills and buying infra) and Democracy (for collecting). But I've been doing this for ages and I'm pretty sure the population has changed their desires without me giving them what they wanted.
