The GATO-Bushido NAP
Preamble
We, the undersigned representatives of Bushido, and the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization, hereinafter named, GATO, mutually agree to enter in agreement, a Non-Aggression Pact, as defined in the following articles:
Article I
i. The sovereign Alliances of Bushido and GATO will display a general respect for each and every member of the other signatory alliance, in public and in private, as a gesture of goodwill and perpetual friendship.
ii. The respective member nations of Bushido and GATO will provide constructive debate to one another in public forums while refraining from flaming and/or flame-baiting any statement of the partnered signatory alliance.
iii. The respective member nations of Bushido and GATO will not participate in any act of aggression against any member nation of the other signatory alliance. Such act may lead to cancellation of this pact outlined in Article V, Section i.
Article II
i. The member nations of Bushido and GATO mutually agree to refrain from conducting, or aid in the conducting, of active intelligence gathering of the partnered signatory alliance.
ii. The respective Governments of Bushido and GATO will alert the Government of the partnered signatory Alliance, upon confirmation, to the detection of espionage against the partnered signatory alliance.
iii. Active espionage by members of either signatory alliance, against the other, will render this pact null and void.
Article III
i. The respective governments of Bushido and GATO shall not feel obligated to aid, or facilitate the aid, of monies or military assistance, during a state of war of either party. If any such aid is offered, the partnered signatory alliance may accept or decline the aid; either outcome is not terms for cancellation of this pact.
ii. Careful and courteous discourse shall exist between the Governments of each respective signatory alliance upon the negotiation of, or refusal of, aid outlined in Article III, Section i, upon submission.
Article IV
i. Both signatory alliances agree, in the event a member nation of either signatory alliance be declared war upon by a member of the other signatory alliance, the nation attacking shall be subject to the following:
a. The member nation attacking shall immediately offer peace to the nation being attacked.
b. The member nation attacking will be responsible for all reparations to be paid for damages accrued.
c. The member nation attacking will be subject to criminal sentencing by the court of their own signatory alliance.
Article V
i. Both signatory parties agree, upon cancellation of this pact, each partnered signatory alliance shall give at least a forty-eight hour notice to the other partner. At which, the chief foreign affairs person and/or body shall receive said notice with acknowledgment.
]Conclusion
The Representatives of the Governments of both signatory parties, alliances aforementioned as Bushido and GATO, mutually agree to the terms set forth in this Non-Aggression Pact and are entered in to law unto perpetuity, this the 22nd day of October, 2007.
