Bandwagoning is it still a valid term?

Given that Karma is going on and on about fighting the good fight, tit for tat, blah blah blah, I don't think anyone can call people who declare on NPO 'bandwagoners'. If you're trying to present this as good vs evil, you can't disparage people for choosing to fight evil.

If anything, you should be thanking them.

Yes, it's not bandwagoning as long as you can justify it to yourself in some small way, unlike the nasty bandwagoners in past wars.

I don't know if bandwagoning has been much of an issue yet. So far the only problem has been people jumping off the wagon.

I dont think we have to many concerns regarding bandwagoning. The treaty web will almost ensure everyone in one way or another can get involved. :D

How do we define bandwagon; unrelated, non-treatied partners jumping in?

There's been some disgraceful bandwagoning in past wars, and even a couple such examples already here tonight. Regardless of your feelings on the target, it's still pretty low to hit a man while he's down if you've got no legitimate beef (mind the pun) with him. Bandwagoning can also screw up staggers, targets lists, and planning (speaking on prior experience) and ultimately detracts from whatever the hell it was that started the war in the first place.

Just because this has been near-common practice in the past doesn't mean it should continue. Stay out of the war if you've got no business being there.

I'd think that an awful lot of people in CN have 'beef' with this particular man.
