I'm currently addicted to tanks...
Give me some goodies.

Here's some German ones that I love at the moment:

This is a German Panzer VIII Maus:

This is the German Super Heavy Tank Landkreuzer P.1000 Ratte:

You can fit about 4 Mauses into that...

And finally, the bigger Landkreuzer P. 1500 Ratte Monster
(No Picture Lol)
But the descriptions are scary if you have a ruler handy.
This thang weighs heavier than 50 Sherman M4's combined.
It's 10 inches of armor will probably even stop the biggest gun put on a M4 Sherman, the 75 mm.
It's Main Gun, an 800 mm Monster, is larger than even Battleship Guns, and can blow a 7 ton projectile up to 23 meters, typically exterminating any approaching Shermans.
If her main guns failed, no problem, switch over to the Double 150 mm Secondary Howizters. That's twice as big as the largest guns put on a Sherman. Some Yanks getting close? No problem, multiple MG-151's will smite them down with a lethal rain of 15 mm lead bullets.

I posted mine, post moar.

Yes, America's/the commonwealths pre-war tank production did suck somewhat.

And thats not the main gun. The main gun is the 75mm mounted on the side.

Even the tiger only had 4.5 inch armor.

http://en.wikipedia....anzer_VIII_Maus

A model of it was made, but sadly none was produced.

But you haven't heard of the Ferdinand or Elefant have you?
It's technically not a tank because it has no turret but it's a tank to me.

The first one you wouldn't have to fight, you would just have to wait for it to try and cross a bridge. Seriously, a tank that heavy is rediculous, hence why it never entered production.

The second one is even easier. Send in the infantry to walk up to the side with some explosives.

Well I'd agree with the first part.

But the Elefant was mainly a Defensive Tank after Kursk. During Kursk, 91 Elefants a couple Tigers, and a bunch of Panthers charged at Soviet Tanks, Panthers got pwnt, Elefants and Tigers raged on. From that point, Elepants stood guard and blew up any Shermans or T-34's in the horizon. If they were attacking however, they would usually put tanks or infantry to protect it's sides.

Another fact is that for every Elefant made, his Death to Kill Ratio is 1:10. Shermans to Tigers were 34:1. If they would of just made moar Elefants...

Russian T-90

Pros:
Cheaper to manufacture.
Lighter.
Has an Auto-Loader.

Cons:
Not battle tested.

Contradicting popular belief, T-90's have a Version of the Choblum armor, the type used by British Challengers and American M1's.

American M1 Abrams
Posted Image

Pros:
Battle tested, 0 casualties to other tanks.
Better Electronics.
Armor, Choblum armor is still the superior armor.

Cons:
It is really heavy, 67 tons.
Really bad fuel mileage, last I heard it was 300-400 yards per gallon.

Best tank concept:

Let the enemy know that God is on your side! As an added bonus, you can claim your church tanks are holy sites, and watch your enemy's rules of engagement declare them off limits while you role right into their cities.
