Today, in a surprising announcement after a period of prolonged silence from the government of New Cymru, it was announced that a bill had been passed to create the Disaster Relief Fund, a large reserve of currency to aid the victims of disasters at home and abroad. It is expected that the body put in charge of the fund will also work closely with the White Cross, to attempt to improve the efficiency of aid distribution in the greater Australasian region.
