Long live the Republic!

Long live Azerbaijan!

Long live the Azeri people!

Long live the Liberation Front!

And long live Baku that witnesses this popular victory. The day of victory – the 15th of April: your destiny was written. Over there, from the horizon is seen, in this great day of victory, a new future opens his arms! History will remember the fight for freedom of the Azeri people!

There, on Fountain square! In that historic monument, and further, infront of the Presidential Palace! And further, near the statue of Justinian the Mighty! Over there arrive the soldiers of the Azerbaijani Army with their flags of liberty like the 25th of November, together always with the people! And here we are baptizing a new balcony – “The Balcony of the Popular Victory!”. Over there is future with his open arms, I see it illuminated on this victorious day. Everything is completed, the great victory of the Azerbaijani revolt!. Another great victory is the victory of love. It’s the victory of peace. It’s the victory of hope. It’s the victory of all Azerbaijan. Long live Azerbaijan! Victory always!

From here, this salute and this embrace to all the country, to all our heroic people, to all the men, women and children of the hope for a great homeland, for a new homeland. Azerbaijan ever victorious, free Azerbaijan! It’s the victory of love, it's the victory of the new, it’s the victory of the future. The land of Azerbaijan is the land of peace, the land of justice, of solidarity, of brotherhood. That is to say, the land of the free.

Long live the Azerbaijani people. Long live the Azerbaijani revolt. Long live the 15th of April. Long live peace. Long live love. An infinite embrace of gratitude.

Thank you very much friends. Congratulations to all my governing team, to all the ministers, and the team that is always with us, that accompanies us always. Congratulations especially to the Caspian Command, to the Airforce of Azerbaijan, to the Police, to the administrations of the municipalities, of the provinces. Congratulation to the commands of the Azerbaijani Liberation Front, to the squad commands and to that great victorious army.

Now, yes, I must leave for a while. Long live Azerbaijan! Long live the land of the free!

This is your President, Ilham Aliyev, over and out.

//privately

"Yes, congratulate yourselves on my goodwill to pull out before actually wiping your nation from this map. Oh well, they'll just pay later," he chortled to himself.

Your overwhelming firepower, equipment and tactics were too much for our far more advanced and trained soldiers. Your military is top notch and obviously we are no match for your superiority. Have fun, kings of the world.

A soldier's equipment is not relevant, when there is a people fighting for its freedom.

You were not fighting for freedom, you were fighting for pride. We did not infringe on your freedoms, your rights, we were simply doing our job. Would you rather have had us or the Nords occupy your country? Us, the ones who tried to give you aid and support to rebuild your nation, or the Nords who would probably use your nation as a bombing test site? You were given major leniency and even a chance to diplomatically talk an end to the occupation, instead you chose bloodshed and even more of your citizens died.

The nords have mantained their word. We surrendered and asked them to cease attacks, they maintained their word and even tought we differ from their opinions, they have shown to be honourable enemies, who respected our independence.

We didn't ask your help, nor your aid, we didn't ask you to occupy our country with thousands of troops. If your efforts were only aimed at reconstruction, then you should have offered us aid, and avoid the deployment of thousands of soldiers, we have no security problems in Azerbaijan, we have an army, and we have the police. You decided to deploy troops, despite the people protesting, well, thats how things work in Azerbaijan, freedom is the key of our secular Republic and when the people demonstrate, the Government or whoever is in charge of the country must listen to them. The results of not listening the Azerbaijani people is this rebellion, the alternative was to exterminate the Azeri population, and rebuild only the ghost of a country.

You are not only raving, but dead wrong.

Thank God that we have sane leaders in the rest of the world.

Please, tell the rest of us HOW, excatly, they are wrong. We are not challenging you, we simply wish an explanation of what exactly you believe is wrong with their statement.
