It is my opinion, as well as the opinion of many other players in this game, that E-ZI has gotten way out of hand. Players are now being tracked by IP addresses all over Bob and forced into leaving the game that many of them have devoted years to. Admin once sighted a situation in which he was hypothetically a nation that got nuke rogued, and that the rogue in question was deleted by the moderation staff before retribution could be handed out. Now, I agree with him that if I were in his shoes I would be pissed, and if the opportunity to attack the player's re-roll presented itself, I would.

However, I would not go searching through forums and alliances trying to find that player after they tried to enter the game under a different name, character after character, just to "get even" or for "protection". I would not chase the player from the game after one, two, three or any number of new characters just because I was that pissed over a little infrastructure, or that insecure about my alliance's well being. Getting revenge is fine, Keeping players from enjoying a game is just plain sick.

This is not a debate thread about the merits of E-ZI vs. letting people go. I stated my opinion on it because this is a petition which is intended to support my opinion. If your opinion is that E-ZI is necessary, make a new thread.

If you support this petition to admin to ban the practices of E-ZI, simply sign your name in this thread.

While I think it would be far more interesting to see the EZI doctrine destroyed IC through an assault on, and subsequent surrender terms to, the powers that practice it, I suppose that the general consensus of the OP is within my standards.

I agree that I don't think this petition will solve anything, but it's a nice gesture. If you want a petition that will actually do something, how about adding "and by signing this petition you swear to oppose and obstruct the activity of any alliance who engages in E-ZI".

How admin would be able to enforce a petition like this without it being abused by few seems difficult, but with the EZI list in general being quite small perhaps there is some hope despite his already chosen stand on the issue.
