Imperial Researchers working in the military research wing of Enkaido Engineering are finishing the final tests of two brand new pieces of Artillery:
The Type-1 "Yabusame" Self-Propelled Artillery

A-X supply vehicle

And the FH-100 (OOC: rl FH-2000) Towed-Artillery

The Yabusame is intended to be a replacement for the current Imperial Type-99 self propelled artillery, and to be a large improvement on it as well. The Yabusame comes in two parts: the Artillery itself, and the A-X armored supply vehicle. The Type-1 artillery piece has fully automated ammunition handling and firing that allows firing of the 48 on-board rounds at rates of up to 10 rounds per minute to ranges in excess of 40km. The first rounds of a mission can be fired in 15 to 30 seconds. Additionally, Yabusame has the capability to fire multiple rounds to achieve simultaneous impact on target (MRSI). One Yabusame vehicle can fire up to 8 rounds to strike a single target at the same time. The digital fire control system calculates separate firing solutions for each of the 8 projectiles.
Sending and recieving real-time battle information, the Yabusame is also linked with other Yabusame's on the field, giving it full communication with other Yabusame's and their supply vehicles.
The barrel of the Type-1 is Integral Midwall cooled, allowing for it's extremely high rate of fire
Yabusame is re-supplied by the A-X ammunition re-supply vehicle, which is equipped with a fully automated ammunition handling subsystem. This allows its three-man re-supply crew to automatically transfer, under armour, up to 48 rounds of ammunition and fuel to the howitzer in less than 12 minutes. Resupply can be carried out in a contaminated environment.
The resupply vehicle itself can be fully loaded with fuel and 110 rounds of ammunition in less than 60 minutes.
The FH-100 is also a replacement of the FH-70 currently in use, upgrading to a 6 round per minute for every 3 minutes firing rate
