Today the Emperor has announced new major initiatives in Foreign Affairs. It is a glorious day for the Empire. The Emperor has successfully concluded arms and treaty negotiations with his counter part in The Enlightened Technocracy of Rockport, he has announced, that they have come to an agreement.

Article I. Political Unity
The United Francoist Empire and The Enlightened Technocracy of Rockport hereby declare themselves political allies. The two powers will lend soft power support to one another, defined as economic, political, and informational support. Furthermore neither power shall ever undertake action to harm the other.
Article II. Economic Prosperity
The United Francoist Empire and The Enlightened Technocracy of Rockport hereby enter into a economic friendship. We pledge to respect each others intellectual property rights, decrease trade barriers, maintain fair currency policies and inject foreign direct investment into each others economies. Furthermore citizens traveling on a business visa from both countries will have entrance fees waved to make ease of trade that much better.

The United Francoist Empire and The Enlightened Technocracy of Rockport hereby declare technological cooperation. The two sides will continue to work on projects such as in the past and grant the highest level export clearance to each other on the assumption that they will not export it out to a third party.
Article IV. Mutual Defense and Military Cooperation
The United Francoist Empire and The Enlightened Technocracy of Rockport hereby declare military cooperation. Should one power come under attack the second would be obligated to defend them. Furthermore we shall assist each other in anti-terrorist operations around the globe.
Article V. Gibraltar
The United Francoist Empire will work with its Ferrous Pacific Allies to assist The Enlightened Technocracy of Rockport in keeping the Strait of Gibraltar open and free of harassment. All civillian or merchant traffic is always allowed passage, no tax. In times of war, vessels flying flags of nations we are hostile to or are tied to hostile powers can be searched.
Article IV. Amendments and Cancellation
This agreement can be cancelled by one party after 96 hours. It may be amended by the agreement of both parties.

Imperial Marshall Han FeiZi of Europe has met with the leaders of the Vektarian Empire. The men had a long and frank discussion over each others strategic objectives. We talked about the memo now publicly available about Vektarian action against the Ferrous Pacific. It has been decided that both men wish to have a peaceful Europe. Therefore the United Francoist Empire has signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Cooperation with the Vektarian Empire. We shall work forward towards a new dawn on the European Continent and around the World.
Imperial Marshall Han FeiZi will begin meeting with our regional allies and friends in the Franzharian Territories also to conclude our diplomacy tour of Europe.

However we shall wait and see. We do note the extremely generous terms regarding the Gibralter Straights, and with the situation in northern Europe being what it is perhaps their presence is still necessary.
