Today, in a Press Conference in Dell Hall, Empress Amy Thompson announced the new Reforms in the educational, social, and military areas in Dell. For months, the D.S. has been promising social reforms, but, the new parliament decided to slow up the Process. But without further a due we present the newest reforms in the educational Sector.

Educational Reforms

-- The Dellian Parliament voted today on the 250 million dollar increase in budget for the Public School systems. The lack of funds has hindered education in Dell, but now we hope that this will no longer be a Problem.
-- The School Year has been increased from 140 days in the Dellian Empire, to 170 days. We hope that the extra 30 days in School can help keep student's in class longer and off the streets, and that they will learn more each year to become more active citizen's in Dell.
-- After Graduating from High School, All Dellian citizen's most enroll in the Military for 6 months of training. After serving they're six months, they can choose to either serve a term of 4 years in the military or they can enter the work force, or attend College. If they choose to enter the military after the first 6 months, they're education will be payed for, or they will be given a job to help them start off life correctly. We have enacted this reform, because we feel that every Dellian Citizen should be trained to fight, so if Dell needs them to fight again, they don't need to be trained for long periods of time.

Social Reforms

-- The Parliament has passed a new law, making two classes of people in the Dellian Empire, Citizens and Civilians. Citizen's are people that are serving, or have served in the Dellian Military (more than the required 6 months), or hold a Party Position in the D.S. Civilians are the rank and file of Dell. Citizen's have more rights under the Constitution, and are allowed to vote for Parliament elections, get tax exemptions, and are able to enter certain clubs and restaurants that civilians are not.
-- Workhouses have been established in Dell. We do not want anyone to be homeless in Dell. They enter a workhouse for 6-10 months and work getting paid well-over the minimum wage. All money will be saved in a bank for the worker, and when they are done with their time in the workhouse, will be given access to the account, and will be provided with Government housing.


Military Reforms

-- The D.S. military has established certain military Zones in Dell. Each Zone will be governed by the Dellian Military. This will replace State and Local Governments. Each Zone will have a Military Police Precinct which will also replace the municipal Police. We hope that this will take away some of the beuarocracy of government and make it more efficient.
-- Several of these Zones are classified as Red Zones. Any Foreigners in the Red Zone's without a special card, will be apprehended and will be escorted out of the country.
