In the underground city of Garland, President Claudio, along with his cabinet, greets his guests in the Garland Convention Center with a large picture of a train behind him.

"Distinguished guests, I welcome you all to the biggest innovation to hit Antarctica since these cities in which we reside. Since the American Frontier, trains have been the favored mode of transportation because of their capacity for holding cargo and their ability to traverse great distances in short times. Until now, trains have been an unavailable means of conveyance due to the harsh conditions presented by the terrain and weather of Antarctica. However, with the advances made by combining technology from our nation and our neighbors, we were able to construct a tunnel through which we could allow trains to run."

Pressing a button on a remote control, he changes the picture behind him to show the tunnel.

"The Ice Worm Rails will allow us Antarcticans to expedite travel and trade between Antarctic nations, as well as allow us to better defend each other in times of aggression. With the mag-lev technology from the U.R.P.R., the trains can travel up to 150 km/hr (93 mph), making the 10 mile trip from here to Ziekden a mere 10 minutes. But rather than bore all of you with details, I'd like to show you with a demonstration. But first, to thank all of you for coming, we will dine on fine cuisine. All of which has been transported here in our tunnel."

At that, the President stepped down from the stage of the dining hall to mingle amongst his guests.
