The University of New Cymru Historical Department has announced the founding of the International Archaeological Society. Any nations wishing to send scholars to join and participate are welcome to do so. An expedition to Northern Africa has already been funded, and we are awaiting permission for site access.

There are several Aksumite and Kushite ruins scattered throughout the Empire that we'd be more than willing to open to IAS Scholars and Archaeologists.

The Commonwealth would like to send some of its scholars with your IAS delegation if possible.

Of course, it is the International society for a reason.

OOC: I did this because I like ancient history, and it would be nice to have a topic that wasn't about politics or war :D

OOC: Agreed. I love history. :awesome:

IC: Certainly. Our ports and airports are available as a good waypoint for you should you choose to take an indirect flight to Africa.

All sites in Rockport are eagerly crammed with BHis students and teachers. There is a waiting list. Sorry.

A good thing we did not plan to visit Rockport then, isn't it? We were in fact hoping to visit the Ancient Pyramids of Egypt.

Ile de Noir would welcome the opportunity to send some of our scholars to do joint studies with the Society. Most of them will have a background in mountaineering so we can be of use in that capacity as well, with future expeditions in hard to reach areas.

Ah, mountaineering, the most noble of pursuits.

The Archaeologist of Ile de Noir are welcome here. It has also come to our attention that not everyone will want to travel to our little corner of the world, and so we propose small regional headquater buildings in all willing nations.

Scholars from the Marscurian Empire would like to join the society. We are eager to prove the stories of our creation are true.

An entire nation joining the society? Very odd indeed, if I do say so myself.

Indeed, this does seem interesting. The Commonwealth is pleasantly surprised to see a nation full of scholars.

The Cholan Empire is proud of our history and will definitely send scholars if possible. Also once the African expedition is over we wish to fund an expedition in India

Dranaggian scholars and ship salvagers would like to join the expedition. The salvagers in particular are experts at finding almost anything in what looks like nothing, and would be glad to trade ice for sand.

The Archäologie Korps of the RPK (Republik Pazifisches Korps) wishes to join this society. Our islands hold many Polynesian ruins and WWII Japanese Ruins

State-funded expeditions seem unnecessary. Archaeologists from Tashta will participate if they wish; we do not command them. Additionally, while we have made strong efforts to excavate ancient history near us, that is, pre-Triyunican history, know that you are welcome inside our borders.

Ile de Noir is willing to host such a regional headquarters, and will pick up the expenses for such a facility. We look forward to the future exploits of the society.

OOC: This was all the way on page 4, we post way too much in RP lately. :P /OOC

OOC: Indeed, A nice change. Excellent idea, mate.

IC: We already had our own Arcaeological society, but not on this scale. It has expressed interest in merging with this one.

OOC: That's why I have it set to 40 topics a page. Makes it a mite eaiser to keep up.

The RA would be more then welcome to have you here. In fact, a few RA archaeological societies have voiced their interest to merge with this group.
