After spending some days in Singapore, President Oharn Savalli, as usual, like most executive leaders of a nation was busy passing the day listening to his cabinet, being updated about the various happenings within Tanis and the world, and various yadda yadda most ordinary leaders of nations were used to. Yet today, something a more subtle nature was presented to the president of Tanis, and he picked up the artistically designed, specially designed ballpoint pen.
***Executive Order 0344***
The foreign affair relations with the Republic of Tanis is hereby stated with a heavy stance towards isolation from dealing with the various nations with the world. By the power vested by me, Oharn Savalli, my administration and all its personnel will keep all current embassies within our nation, although severely curtail the allowance of new applicants for diplomats and embassies. In regards to our current batch of diplomats and treaty partners, we will allow to continue our exchange with them. The Republic of Tanis is to make no great strides in a global sense, but we continue to limit ourselves to regional and local development.
Signed,
Oharn Savalli
President of the Republic of Tanis

Throughout the days and weeks of President Oharn Savalli's public life, he always had a couple appointments with a couple 'close' friends, which worked for various companies throughout Tanis, mainly it was the prevalent gold and iron industries, since they accounted for 65% of Tanis' GDP at the moment, although Defense Industries and the newly founded technology industry were increasing their influence in Tanis.
Today, he was talking to a friend, a lobbyist to Tanis Defense Industries.
"My friend, TDI has a great deal of plans drawn up for the military of Tanis. We wish for your administration to grant us some, what's that word I'm looking for... ah yes, tax breaks, tax credits, etc. Anything that reduces our income taxes for the next decade."
"And what sort of products would TDI design for our military?" inquired the President.
"First, we would offer an array of armored vehicles for your military at the moment. At first, we would produce a Tanis Second Generation Main Battle Tank with a design all ready when the first factory comes online. After three years, we'll have done extensive R&D on a Third Generation MBT for Tanis, that could challenge a very early versions of Nordland Tiger tanks, which could our tank could be on par with a fight with a Leopard 2 MBT tank."
"Interesting. Do you have the plans here?"
"Of course, I'm always prepared for the sales pitch."
*laughs*
"I present you the T-20 Suntra MBT."
*shows a prototype picture*

"This is what our engineers at TDI have devised for Tanis' Armored Vehicles."
*Hands the president the tank spec*
The president glanced at the folder, and opened it, it read so literally, just so, like an engineer wrote it. There were very few picture and if there were, they were cross-sections for building the tank.

"Well, this is an interesting design, our Chiefs of Staff will want to take a look at it of course you understand."
"Of course, of course."
"But I assure, I have that stuff you requested prepared for TDI as soon as possible, and I'm sure that no one will have a problem with you building this. From what I heard from my Army Chief of Staff, they are looking into 300 tanks of this nature, so be ready to build them. And lastly, what would the cost be for each unit?"
"Mr. President, our ballpark figures range around $1 million to $1.5 million per unit and if you want 300 units, it would probably cost your nation... lets see..."
*pulls out a calculator*
"That would be $300 million to $450 million total."
"That's totally fine, it's been a nice chat with you."
"Indeed, thanks for helping out my company."
"A pleasure."
