Reich - Raptor Jesus Land Exchange

Today, a deal was finalized between the Imperial Crown and representatives from the Land of RaptorJesus that detailed a land exchange between the two countries. Raptor Jesus was given the Principality of Djibouti in exchange for a portion of South Ethiopia.

The move now gives the Reich a land border with it's staunch ally, Imperial Realm.

"The move will allow both us and Realm easier access to each other, helping tourism, trade, and any other number of benefits. RaptorJesus gets access to the sea, it's a real win-win for all involved." said an elated Emperor.

Ministry of Engineering & Technology

With a growing emphasis on the Technical capabilities of the Reich, the Emperor has decided that a Ministry fully dedicated to the task, and staffed by ACTUAL Engineers and Technical Professionals from their respective fields would better serve the growing needs of the Reich.

Jehan Zhudov, Cheif Engineer of FraiTech, a Stuctural Planning firm and Defense Contactor based out of Mogadicio, was appointed the first Minister of Engineering and Technology

Ports Open, Trade Resumes

For the first time since the events of the Second Silver Revolution, The Crown has authorized the complete de-restriction, and removal of Military Lockdown from, ports of call around the Reich. 16 Supertankers alone were reported to have left port in the Mainland, with 5 coming from the Seychelles, 3 from Mauritius, and 2 from Novorossiysk.

One of the Reich's top priorities was bringing it's Medical capabilities into the Modern era, while the technologies might not be state of the art, at least the Reich now has the facilities.

The opening of three District Clinics, as well as the Mogadicio Imperial Hospital was announced by the Office of the Crown this evening.

Government Audits & Seizures

After a lengthy Audit of the Imperial Financial System, it was discovered that Jessica Haines, the Dictatoress of the failed Dominion Coup, had embezzled well over 100million Afrikamarks to build herself a large estate in the Ethiopian wilds near the border with RaptorJesus.

Upon this discovery, the Reich has formally seized the abandoned property. The property has been liquidated of it's asset value and will be auctioned off.

The liquidated assets will be channeled into a Scholarship fund for disadvantaged students.

Today, the expansion of the Imperial Reserve from two districts to four was completed with the opening of two new district banks in Port Louis, Mauritius and Constantia, Seychelles.

This also coincided with the release of the new 'Kaiser Martens' and 'Ranatheria' banknotes from the District Bank/Imperial Mint in Mogadicio.

New Imperial Navy to design first Coastal Patrol Vessel

Upon it's commission by the Crown, the Imperial Navy has ordered the construction of it's first class of vessel, the Rukia-class CPV, designed primarily to monitor the piracy rampant in the region's waters.

The first vessels are expected to be complete within two months.

The Return of Lord Vayne

Lord Vayne Archades, once the Marquis of the failed Viceroyalty of Dalmasca, staunch ally of the Imperial Crown, and master tactician, has been named the first Lord Admiral of the Imperial Navy in a small ceremony on the grounds of the Imperial Palace.

Communications System Upgrades Initiated

In order to facilitate a more effective state, High Chancellor Elric has announced a nationwide Telephone Service Inititive. Under the plan, Telephone wires and poles would be built over time.

"First, the lines would be built in the Major Population Centres, and to and from each other. Once the cities are connected, we expect the process to take at least a year or so, then over the next several years the rural areas would be integrated into the network. The entire hookup should be complete in five or six years, if we stay on time and under budget." explained the Chancellor
