Today Estovakia unveiled the first tank squadron to be built from Estovakian factories. This squadron which has been called the 1st Royal Guards Tank Squadron consists of 23 tanks which are of the E-72 classification. These new tanks show how far the nation of Estovakia has advanced since its early years and it is hoped that the numbers of the tank squadron can be increased so that it can form into a full company.

The E-72's specifications are as follows:

Weight: 41.5 tonnes (45.7 short tons)
Length: 9.53 m (31 ft 3 in)
Width: 3.59 m (11 ft 9 in)
Height: 2.23 m (7 ft 4 in)
Crew: 3
Armour: 500 mm (20 in) of 3rd generation composite armour consisting of high hardness steel, tungsten, and plastic filler with ceramic component
Primary armament: 125mm 2A46M smoothbore gun
Secondary armament: 7.62mm PKT coax machine gun, 12.7mm NSVT antiaircraft machine gun
Engine: V-12 diesel 780 hp (582 kw)
Speed: 60 km/h (37 mph)

E-72's NBC protection:
The E-72 has a comprehensive nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) protection system. The inside of both hull and turret is lined with a synthetic fabric made of boron compound, meant to reduce the penetrating radiation from neutron bomb explosions. The crew is supplied clean air via a complicated air filter system. A slight over-pressure prevents entry of contamination via bearings and joints. Use of an autoloader for the main gun allows for more efficient forced smoke removal compared to traditional manually-loaded ("pig-loader") tank guns, so NBC isolation of the fighting compartment can, in theory, be maintained indefinitely.
