A little over three months ago, =LOST= entered into a war to honor treaties. And frankly, we like a good fight. We kicked the doors in, cigars smoking, ammo belts strapped, guns at the ready, like something out of a movie. But then it was like the scene where the hero breaks down the door ready for action and on the other side there's like, ALL the badguys waiting with their guns drawn.
However, =LOST= doesn't afraid of anything. Instead of panicing, we grinnned, spit and unloaded everything we could into foes. The door we kicked in was the NPOs..which with a little reasearch, we could have found out they were the biggest gang in the game. However, we're more action than forethought, and noone told us this. (Actually we did, but this is for dramatic effect, so just play along for a second.) Still, we fought on.
Then we see TPF coming up from behind. Not a sneak attack, just a point of engagement. We realized this was gonna be rough. At this point, we convened a small war council that soudned like this:
Me: "Ahhhhh!"
Nin: Shiiiiiii-----!"
Johnny: "Fffffuuuu----!"
Hombre: "Nooooooo!"
Bobby: "Can I pull my pants back up now ?"
Sinister: "No! And I told you not to say anything! ...and don't look at me!"
Actually, this is how alot of our meetings go, but anyways....
We entrenched, went defensive, and rode out as well we could.
The war ended, surrender came and terms were given.
Our terms were fair and as a TPF protectorate, we had a chance to rebuild while remaining mostly raid free. (Seriously, just drop TPFs name and people fall all over themselves to apologize.)
We paid our reps in record time and waited out the terms.
As of yesterday, our terms were up. We are back in business and on the mend.
To our foes: we actually had some fun fighting you guys. We knew we were screwed, so we hope you enjoyed stomping us into little piles of dust and mush. NPO was very fair in terms and TPF were great fun and we hated being on the other side of them in this conflict.
To OMFG and FEAR: We gained alot of respect for you guys after the mishaps that occured and were resolved. We were pleasantly suprised to find level heads from across the field. We've been busy but we promise we'll stop in and see ya. Drop by anytime.
To our Friends: To MK, Athens and all of C&G, and to Rok and SSSW18(who were unfortunately on the other side of this conflict, but still suppported us as they could), hard fought battles, no matter the outcome make us stronger. I know you guys are still on lockdown for awhile, but you know where to find us and we are always ready to help if asked. We usually don't come offering, we're just stoic like that, but if you ask, consider it given.
