State of the Alliance
With just over two months to go until the peace terms from our reccent war expire the the STA continues to grow steadily. We currently have 110 members and our total nation strength has passed 1.1 million.
In domestic news Madmonkey24 and Rabbs are setting the pace in the Recruitment Rewards program and it is largely thanks to their efforts that our numbers are growing so rapidly. Both are to be commended for their work in not only recruiting new members but encouraging others in the alliance to join them in the recruiting department.
The History of the STA has finally been written and can be viewed by STA members, foreign diplomats and guests at STA headquarters. The history was put together so our new members and not so new members can see how our alliance has developed and evolved over its almost 2 years in existance.
The war reparations payments are moving into the final phase and preparations are being made with Valhalla to coordinate the tech deals that will make up the remaining reparations payments.
In miltary news the influx of new members has not been without incident. A number of new members seem to believe they can attack whoever they like and a number have been expelled within days of joining the alliance. The STA has never tolerated rogues and never will. Thankfully a majority of our new members are understanding of our current status under the peace terms and are fiting into the alliance nicely.
Diplomatically, it is quiet in the STA. With all our treaties cancelled due to peace terms and being unable to sign new treaties until the terms expire there is little we can do. Channels remain open to deal with issues as they arise but we all look forward to reinstating treaties with our friends who we fought alongside recently.
Overall, the past two weeks have seen us pass a million nation strength and 100 members and if the current trend continues the STA will emerge from the peace terms stronger than we went into the war back in mid-August.
