Surrounded by world leaders from around the globe, Douglas Penchuk stood before the Duke of St. Andrews.
Duke of St. Andrews: "Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the Proxian Empire of Proxia, Iceland, New Stockholm, Ulster, and of your Possessions and other Territories to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to their respective laws and customs?"
Douglas: "I solemnly promise so to do."
Duke of St. Andrews: "Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgments?"
Douglas: "I will."
Duke of St. Andrews: "Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the Proxian Empire the Protestant Reformed Religion established by law? Will you maintain and preserve inviolable the settlement of the Church of Proxia, and the doctrine, worship, discipline, and government thereof, as by law established in Proxia? And will you preserve unto the Holy Word of God in Proxia, and to the Churches there committed to their charge, all such rights and privileges, as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them?"
Douglas: "All this I promise to do. The things which I have here before promised, I will perform, and keep. So help me God."
Duke of St. Andrews: "Hence forth, by the powers bestowed upon me by King Alexander Penchuk I of the Proxian Empire and the Proxian people, I hereby crown you as King Douglas I of the Proxian Empire."
Cheers were heard throughout the room as the King took His seat in His royal chair, and looked upon His Kingdom with pride. "Long live King Douglas!" was heard through out the room.
