I live on campus on my college but on the weekends I often stay at my families house. I log onto cybernations both from campus and at my house on the weekends. So are my brothers therefore banned from ever playing the game even if I don't aid or trade with them (since we share the same IP at my house)? Also if they decide to make an account anyways does that mean I get banned?

From what it looks like, they may not be able to register from your house. I think they'd be able to play though if they registered from outside your house. You would be restricted from all the interactions though, as they'd log in from the house I'd assume

If there are two nations that share the same IP no matter what you will most likely get banned.

Also, playing for your college is risky, if someone else there plays and logs on on the same network (Assuming it just assigns IP's from a set list) you'd get a banhammer too.

Wow, this game is strict with the bans. I guess I hope nobody who might log in from the same IP ever finds out about this game. Was there a reason they didn't just ban interaction, and completely banned logging in from same IP address?

As people cheated and made multiple nations, then reported them as being there brothers account etc, when most of the time this wasnt the case.

If people want to cheat they can easily make an account they only log into from a library or computer lab. At least if your open about the fact that you share an IP with someone and don't trade with or aid them, I don't think that should be against the rules. This rule seems to punish those who aren't trying to do anything wrong rather than the actual cheaters.

You and your brothers would not be banned, but all of the accounts will likely be deleted. We very rarely ban on the first offense for multiple nation on a single network.

We used to allow multiple accounts on a network, but a vast majority of the people who reported their 'siblings', 'roomates', etc were just using that as a cover up for multis.
