Distopya's 21 regiments practiced military defensive drills this week. Each regiment was given a border position, and then a military base to go to randomly each day. They would be tested on the speed in which they got to each point. General Laiho directed these drills, and had this to say...

"I've never really been much of a public speaker. The First Vannihavn Regiment was the quickest regiment to go through the drills, however I feel that our entire military force is ready for an attack on Distopya should there be one in these dangerous times. This was also the first time we got to try out our new APCs. Vehicular movement is much much easier I have seen. I like it a lot."

Also, you may have noticed Distopyan aircraft flying overhead. Pilots were practicing maneuvers, and bombers were performing target practice at the bases. Yes, the military appears very prepared.

Even though Alexandrovosk is pleased to hear of Distopya's military drills, the "slackness" of General Laiho offended Alexandrovosk officers. No official message was made from the officer corp.

However, Alexandrovosk is interessted in performing joint military drills and practices together with Distopya's military force.
