{General News Reports}
Two days ago, the UDCR announced its annexation of the previously independent territory known as North Gujaria. The UDCR saw this move as a positive one, due to the numerous city-states in the region recently coming to to the capital and asking for a deal to become a part of the UDCR. Unfortunately, about two of these states has rejected the Republican annexation in favor of independent government. Photographs can be seen below:

Today the UDCR government has announced that it is moving several battalions of troops into the region to ensure civility among the locals, and has sat down in diplomatic talks with the two states. The rumor is that the UDCR government is offering the states a hefty sum of money for the leaders to do with as they see fit.
The UDCR assures us that no military action will be taken against the region, except where the region grows violent in itself. The UDCR will use diplomacy first, and war will only be a last resort.
