Now, I am going to ask a question, and I want answers, because I have never had troubles with political decisions before-but then, I have never had an issue occur like this before either.
A real life friend is basically betraying me in real life. The situation is as such: I had/have 3 really good friends. Over the past few months, one has started to hang out with someone else a lot more often (understandable), another betrays information that I want/need to keep confidential unto him only to other people, and the third is the one in question. He is doing something to me which I feel as if I can not let go of, and he himself is making some pretty dumb decisions along with another person I considered to be a good friend. (That other person being my ex.)
Now, in CyberNations, his nation strength is 1k less than mine, I have millions more saved than he has, and generally he would be an easy target. Now, my question is, do I let real life situations interfere with my political situations? (I plan on being a high ranked officer in the military, thus I treat my nation as if it were 100% real.)
So, should I let this dispute lead onto CN? After all, it's better on an online game to kill someone rather than IRL, right?

I would say no. Dont not bring RL problems into the game, what you do outside of the game should say there. In my oppion that would be an unjust attack on his nation thus making you subject to retaliation from his alliance if he has one.
His alliance is mine, for which I rule in, as I have the largest nation strength in it.

Still he has done nothing to you ingame so going to war over something that happened outside the game is unjust. I think of it like a job, keep personal and business separate.
P.S. ultimately it is your decision, I just dont think its right. my 2 cents

I see what you are saying, and that's exactly why I am having this conflict. On the opposing side, he did betray me, and therefore can I trust him in-game?
I believe what I will do is kick him out, demand the cash and technology I gave him back. And if he does not agree, then that's when I go to war.
