[Augusta Antonia]

=Western Empire= hereby acknowledge the existence of =A= Empire. We'd also like to give them some Imperial Huggles, so here goes...

Preamble
=Western Empire= and =A= Empire agree to come together in friendship and sign this protectorate treaty, with =WE= as the Protector and =A=E as the Protectorate.

Article I - Amity
The signatory alliances and their member states will treat each other with utmost respect. All members of the signatory alliances are expected to show consideration by going through proper channels when addressing any and all concerns.

Article II - Non-Aggression
Both alliances are obligated to refrain from any military action against the other, be it through aggressive action. Both alliances declare their intent to resolve any issues between the parties through regular diplomatic discourse.

Article III - Military Aid and Assistance
A declaration of war on the Protectorate is a declaration on both alliances. If the Protector is declared on they may request assistance from the Protectorate. This assistance will be voluntary. The Protectorate must notify the Protector before any non-defensive military actions.

Article IV - Espionage
Neither alliance will engage in or support espionage against other in any way. If one alliance receives information relevant to other, they are must to notify them immediately.

Article V - Termination
A 72 hour notice must be given to the other alliance if one of the signatories decides to terminate this treaty.
