So Im putting in for my Theory test so I can get a motorbike license. Ive rode a bike before and am just getting bored of my car which just doesnt have the acceleration or top speed Im after (Fiesta 1.25 Zetec Sport 16v, Max is 100mph before the rev limiter kicks in ).

So I had the idea of getting myself a motorbike; far better acceleration and top speed for getting back and fore work and just keeping the car for those days when Im hungover, its too cold to ride or trips to the cinema..... Im looking at Suzuki GSX-R600 brand new from the factory (~£7000, ~$14000USD); a friend has a GSX-R1000 - I like it and have had a ride on the quiet but the insurance for that is too high so I was looking at the smaller model which is more in my insurance range.

So anyone else ride or got input?
