Former Vice-Councilor of The Avenguard Crusade

Every alliance must come to an end; some make it longer then others. Some go down swinging, others ride into the sunset. Due to no one reason The Avenguard Crusade has been in decline for a while.
In order to survive, and keep our name good until the end rather then push our loyal members, and our friends to do better we have made the call to ride into the sunset heads high.

Some have known this disbandment and merger happened quietly and already. Many have not; we wished to protect our members by giving them time before we announced it to the public. I myself stayed looming before I felt it was time to find my own new home. Valhalla our former protector is where many went, others like myself found homes with other allies like Avalon.

It is with great sadness I carry this news to the public as my last act on behalf of The Avenguard Crusade. Most of the membership has found homes already, the rest I hope find a new home soon. I wish them luck in finding that home, and hope that all will still stay in contact, the friendship we built I pray will not disband with the alliance.

Those who still fly The Avenguard Crusade are still under the protection of not only friends, but some of her former allies. I have been informed by many that that protection will remain for former members until they leave the AA. We may be parting ways but we still protect our friends.

I hope all your dealings with us have been pleasurable, and that we live on in memory until such time it is no longer needed.

It is with a deep an unending sorrow that Avalon says goodbye to her dearest compatriots. A whole has been made in our Kingdom's heart that can never be filled. In memorial to our absent friends the Isle has consecrated a statue to ever look from our border into the remains of the lands of Avenguard Crusade and weep for what was lost.

I had always hoped that a day such as this would never come; yet, despite that, it has come and gone as all days must. A great toll of pain and grief sits upon me as I look on what has befallen such hallowed land as that which I have left behind, and my spirit weeps in anguish. All that I can offer is my sorrow, which bleeds forth with the might of an unchecked river. To friends and comrades, and especially those who were and who still are part of the Crusade, I apologize from the very depths of my soul that my our creation could not endure.

To the Crusade's very spirit: forgive me, my child, that I must put you unto rest. This day wounds like no other, and I shall miss you always. To those who wore her banner with me, I count you as friend; to those who still wear it, you are possessed of a greater spirit than I have encountered, and I fear that there is no way I can adequately honor that. May you find safe haven in your travels, wherever they may lead.

For anyone that's wondering, I've vowed to keep the IRC room, and the forums (though slimmed to just one forum) open until they are no longer used. That was friends, and former members have a place to chat, even as they part ways.
