Implementing the Declaration of State Autonomy of Slovetzia, the Parliament solemnly declares Autonomy of Slovetzia and creation of the Union of Slovet Sovereign Republics. The territory of the USSR belongs to Deutchland.
From this day forward, the Statute of Slovetzia only is valid on the territory of Slovetzia. This act comes into force upon its approval. ((Claims, Autonomy, and further conditions have been already discussed with Kaiser Martens and Kanteero))

It is made abundantly clear that Pochenko has no real interest in leadership, and only maintains himself in power for the benefits of the position. Some critics of Pochenko use the term Pochenkism to refer to the political and economic system Pochenko has implemented in Slovetzia. He hosts lavish balls and feasts for his political allies across the nation, in order to insulate them from worsening conditions. The country is sliding deeper into dictatorship and poverty, with the ex-Secret Police terrorising dissidents who oppose Pochenko. Political dissent is tolerated, barely, but political parties are not to be formed outside of the Government's own Party, and all political leaders, dissidents, and thinkers are required to join the Party, or go through Party channels to seek policy change. Those who support Pochenko claim that his rule has spared Slovetzia the turmoil that has beset many other European and Asian countries.
Pochenko himself commented the criticism on him by saying: "I've been hearing these accusations over the years and i got used to it. I am not going to answer them. I want to come from the premise that the elections in Slovetzia are held for ourselves. I am sure that it is the Slovet people who are the masters in our state". Poshenko promotes himself as a "man of the people". Due to his style of rule, he is often informally referred to as "father". He warned that anyone joining an opposition protest would be treated as a "terrorist", adding: "We will wring their necks, as one might a duck".
The official language of Slovetzia is Slovet, a language which is sort of a cross between german and slavic tongues. However, the "language" as spoken is merely garbled sounds spoken with a Bielorussian accent, although some apparently Bielorussian influenced phrases can be picked up if one listens carefully. The country has its own news agency (Telegraph Agency of the Slovet Union or TASU) , airline (Aeroflot Slovet Airlines), and flag (The Bicolour Banner)
Slovetzia is a Federal Republic formed by the Union of 5 Republics (Union of Slovet Sovereign Republics), with President Boris Pochenko in complete control. He is also military commander-in-chief and leader of the Secret Police and Secretary of the Workers' Party of Slovetzia. Slovetzia does have a parliament and its members elected by the public, although how fair the elections are would be questionable given the nature of Pochenko's rule. In any case, the Parliament does not have much power and is presumably just an advisory body to Pochenko and his cabinet. The main ministries are located in Novistrana. Local government councils in Slovetzia consist of elected councillors and unelected officials. Mayors of towns and cities and Presidents of the SSRs are essentially absolute rulers appointed by Presidential Commissions.
Slovetzia's military is fairly small and equipped with soviet made weapons, but is central to Slovetzian society and pride and plays a significant role in politics. The military is run by the Ministry of Peace (equivalent to a Ministry of Defense) from its small office in Pugachev and its larger ministry in Novistrana. Novistrana also contains the National Guard House, a base that is home to the President's loyal National Guard units.
