The Our Ghetto Cookies With Purple Drink Treaty
Preamble
In the interest of promoting friendship and continued peace between the Imperium of Mutual Defense (henceforth known as IMD), and America's Army (henceforth known as AA), the following treaty has been ratified.
I. Sovereignty
IMD and AA both recognize that IMD and AA are two seperate alliances and will recognize each other's sovereignty. Neither alliance will make a move to hinder the other's right to self-governance or control.
II. Non-Aggression
a. AA and IMD both agree not to engage in any military actions against each other, nor to engage in any other hostile acts against the other.
b. Any attacks on IMD or AA from the other signatory will be resolved through diplomatic channels first. Reparations may be awarded to the defending party as decided on by the governments of IMD and AA through official channels.
III. Espionage
a. IMD and AA recognize that in-game espionage will be considered acts of aggression. Both parties agree not to engage in espionage on one another. Any disputes over espionage will be resolved diplomatically first.
b. IMD and AA agree not to engage in acts of out-of-game espionage as they recognize that this is detrimental to lasting relations between IMD and AA. If an act of espionage takes place, it is the responsibility of the offending alliance to report the offense. The offending nation(s) who participated in the act of espionage will be disciplined as per their alliance's discretion.
IV. Intelligence
a. If either IMD or AA obtains information that is to the benefit of the other's knowledge or is worthy of being shared, the information will be conveyed in private, official channels to the other alliance's government in a timely fashion.
b. Information shared will not be falsified or altered in any way that benefits any party, signatory or not. Falsifying or altering information will be considered a violation of this treaty.
V. Peacetime Aid
a. In times of peace, any request for aid (military, techological, financial, or any other form) may be requested of the other alliance via official channels. The alliance the aid is requested of must consider these requests carefully and when possible, answer with the provision of said aid.
b. AA and IMD recognize that it is in their mutual interests to help each other grow and aid each other when possible. In this spirit, AA and IMD will work to engage in mutual tech deals with a fixed rate of 1.5 mil for 50 tech whenever possible.
VI. Wartime Aid
a. IMD and AA recognize that in wartime situations, neither alliance is obligated to assist the other in any way.
b. Aid may be given if both parties agree to the proposal. This includes optional defense in times of war.
c. Although no aid is required to be given, to honor this treaty, IMD and AA agree not to aid enemies of either alliance during wartime situations.
VII. Goodwill
a. In the interests of showing that AA and IMD are dedicated to maintaining good will and showing respect to one another, both parties agree to not flame, taunt, or insult either party or be otherwise openly disrespectful to members in either alliance. This includes on IRC Channels, Personal Messages (in-game or in private forums), or on open forums. A public apology may be required if member nations engage in such behavior, upon request by the offended alliance.
b. AA and IMD agree not to recruit from each other's alliances through any means including but not limited to Personal Messages (in-game or on private forums), IRC, or open forums. Recruiting from within one of the signatory alliances of this pact by another signatory will be considered a breach in good faith between the two alliances.
VIII. Cancellation
a. This treaty can be cancelled by either party at any time. If one party wishes to cancel, it must inform the other party's government prior to a public announcement. Cancellation notices on the private forums must remain respectful.
b. This treaty will remain in effect for 72 hours after cancellation notice.
