A TREATY OF MUTUAL DEFENSE & TRADE
BETWEEN
REALM AND THE SARNUNGIAN REPUBLIC

In the interest of promoting common bonds between common friends, the Sarnungian Republic and Realm do hereby cement their comradeship in the form of mutual defense and economic aid.

ARTICLE I - Sovereignty: The Sarnungian Republic and Realm recognize each other as sovereign entities and will treat each other as such. Furthermore, no clause of this treaty will infringe upon either nation's sovereignty, as agreed to by the undersigned representatives of each respective nation.

ARTICLE II - Non-Aggression: Both nations agree to not engage in any acts of aggression against the other signatory nation. Acts of aggression are defined as direct military conflict, the use of espionage, or aiding an enemy of the other signatory.

ARTICLE III - Intelligence: Neither nation will participate in or endorse espionage against the other. If such acts do occur, this pact may be canceled immediately. If either nation receives information concerning a direct threat to the other, the relevant information must be shared with the other signatory.

ARTICLE IV - Mutual Defense: If either of the signatory nations is attacked by a third party, the other signatory is required to provide all military, financial and political assistance available. A signatory may withhold military, financial or other aid to the other signatory if it receives consent to do so.

ARTICLE V - Economic Agreement: In exchange for services from the East Africa Company, the Sarnungian Republic agrees to provide Realm with technological advancements and military arms. The exchange rate for said economic agreement will be at such a point where Realm is at the same technological and military armament level as the Sarnungian Republic.

ARTICLE VI - Termination: If either signatory wishes to withdraw from this treaty for any reason, they must inform the other 72 hours in advance before termination. There will be a 96 hour window of non-aggression after the date of termination between the two signatory nations. Immediate cancellation may occur if either signatory breaches any of the above articles.

MONDAY, SARGUNIAN REPUBLIC: Dispatched from the Sarnungian Republic this morning were several thousand shipments of computers and arms to the nation of Realm as part of the recent MDEAP signed between the two countries.
