Why?

He would create a scheme to screw up Harry-Potter, turning him evil, and a machine of revenge, then would have Harry kill Voldemort, and finally would leave Harry alive to "complete him."

Joker. Voldemort is a schemer, a guy with a plan. The Joker doesn't have any plans, but he does know how to show the schemers how useless their plans really are.
