Greetings,

The Greenland Republic rejoices with her allies in the recent victory over the foreign aggressors. As the former alliance has disbanded, anyone carrying the Alliance Affiliation of "\m/" and attacking the Greenland Republic, or the New Polar Order will henceforth be treated as a rogue, and therefore not subject to any special treatment.

If an aggressor nation wishes to have peace with the Republic, they may sue for peace in the following manner:

1) Issue a formal request to the Greenland Republic through private channels (Yes, PMs are a useful feature) .
2) Agree to the terms set by their Republican opponent (if you feel these are unfair, contact a government member).
3) Remove your Alliance Affiliation, and swear on your honour to never again take up arms against the Greenland Republic.

If the above is not met, our fireteams will continue to assault those nations whom they are at war with. We are very understanding to the fact that you all just wish to get on with the game, and so please, for your own sake, take this offer. We do not wish to ZI you, nor do we wish to take all of your tech, but our attacks will not cease until the terms are agreed to.

Those that wish to exit the war and seek a form of protection before they try a new alliance are welcome to change their Alliance Affiliation to "GR POW". In such an instance, offensive wars are not permitted, nor are the buildup of nuclear arms. Other restrictions may be placed on the POW status at any time.

Onwards, for peace.

Take Care,

Celtic

P.S. If you nuked a member of the Greenland Republic, you're in for the long haul. Don't mess around next time.
P.P.S. These policies are subject to change.

I don't mean to troll this or anything, but...

1. Your terms are "ask your attackers for terms."
2. The terms you get may be changed on you after you accept them, and.
3. The policy that people can ask for terms may change also.

That's not saying much, is it?

@ El Bruc, we like to keep things open ended.

All members have been instructed to pretty much ask for basic surrender procedure, i.e decom military, PoW AA until they find an approved alliance. However, there are some nations, i.e Nuclear first strikers, or those who have been very disrespectful in combat (not that I'm aware we've had any trouble with this) who will find peace a little harder to obtain.

Also, getting surrendered nations to message their attackers as opposed to just following set terms allows us to make sure their are no misunderstandings, and allows us to keep track of who has surrendered. If we posted: Nations must do XYZ, then some nations would do this, think they had peace when in reality, the attacker needed to be notified and/or peace may have been unavailable to them at that time.

we're only at war with \m/ and since they disbanded it is difficult to produce broad surrender terms because saying "3 mil and 50 tech in reps" may not work for the nation with only 5k ns.

Fair enough. :)
