Abu Dhabi, Kingdom of New Sahrani (SNN) - The Sahranian coalition government has collapsed after only 2 months in office, brought down by internal feuding in the party of Sarah Sanchez. "I have done everything I could to find a solution to this crisis but I did not succeed" Prime Minister Sarah Sanchez told parliament she would present her government's resignation to King Joseph III later on Tuesday.

He described conflicts within his party as unacceptable, and said the issue was distracting the government from attending to important business. The government was the shortest-lived Sahranian administration since Civil War. New elections are expected in July. "I'm sure Sahrani will not take upon its shoulders the responsibility of stopping the healing of the wounds from the Civil War," he said.

The Sahranian coalition had been divided over a range of issues, including Bahrain invasion, but it was a power struggle between two ministers from Sanchez' Action Commitee of Sahrani which brought the government down.

We are saddened to hear of this collapse. Promised Land suggests that, until you can get a more stable government in place, King Joseph III takes control of the majority of governmental affairs.

We will held new elections as soon as possible, but the King can't take decisions on his own, it is against the constitution, he always needs the approvation of the senate.

Isn't there a clause for emergency situations, where he can temporarily take a leadership role until the crisis is over?

Nope, when the government collapses the King must dissolve the parliament and set new elections.

We are saddend to hear about this tragic turn of events. But Eggman Empire is willing to send negotiators to help bring peace and level heads between opposing political parties in the Sahrani Kingdom. We would also offer to send peacekeeper forces, but the military and diplomatic staff of my administration feel doing so would de-stablize the situation further because there is no clear government to keep peace for.
