I'm a GUN member getting killed in a war and I don't feel like rebuilding again.
I enjoyed CN and bought the odd donation but I think my time here up.

I don't want to watch my nation get used for target practice and since I put such a large effort into building it I would like to at least in part have a hand in its demise... but you can't delete while at war and I don't see the war stopping any time soon and I still have a lot of infra to lose.

Do you think if I ask nicely I can get it deleted while still at war?

No, I don't think so. You'll have to do it the hard way, like everyone else.
