Since he ended United Dixie's isolation last week, speculation has been rampant that he would soon declare the period of rebuilding to be at an end. It is widely believed that that is indeed what he will discuss in this speech. I now send you live to Fort Rucker."
"My fellow citizens, the past month-or-so has been a time of dire need for the people of this great land. With the help of our allies from Pravus Ingruo, we have quelled unrest and violence. We have picked up the pieces of a shattered realm and built them back greater than before. It may be a long time before United Dixie reaches Alabama's strength of old, but know this: we have succeeded in bringing peace, order, and stability to this nation. I hereby declare the rebuilding period of United Dixie to be over. We have discussed this with Pravus Ingruo, and they have agreed to remove their troops and hand over full control of United Dixie to us. We thank them for all they have done. While our neighbors in Pravus Ingruo have assisted in rebuilding this land, it is you, the people, who have truly made it possible. It is you, the people, who will continue to make United Dixie great. And it is you, the people, who will rule the nation of United Dixie. Starting now, the Provisional Military Government will begin to hand over power to a permanent, democratic government. I will serve as interim President of this government, pending elections later this week. But while this government will be democratic, it must not suffer the fate of the Alabama Nation. We must not allow it to be compromised. The duty of keeping our nation safe from those who would destroy it is a duty that must be carried out by all of us. You have taken us this far. I know in my heart that through you, and only through you, will United Dixie continue to become great. Thank you."
