As I'm no longer a member of NEO, technically, this is unofficial. But, up until recently I was and I know the full story; and considering circumstances, I feel it's appropriate that I post this announcement and feel that this can be regarded as about as official a message as there will ever be.

As you probably know, NEO has been in a bad way over the past few days. Though the recent attack by NEO upon SoS was essentially the hair that broke the camels back, NEO has been going down-hill for a long time now and I wouldn't regard the attack on SoS as the event that started NEO's fall - there's been numerous other problems, but, as to stay on topic, I'll keep away from that subject for now.

I'd like to announce that the entire government of NEO, aside from the PM, Blaze, have either resigned and left or been dismissed and told to leave - Blaze has recently announced that he intends to step down from CN, and prior to doing so, has ordered all NEO nations to leave the alliance and find themselves new homes.

Blaze has also recently cancelled all treaties and political agreements between NEO and other alliances (except for that of the MADP between NEO and TPF, of which TPF cancelled just prior to this event.)

In accordance with the conditions of cancellation of the MADP between NEO & TPF, a 5 days grace period has been granted to all NEO nations. TPF has also extended an invitation to all NEO nations (aside from its government) to join them in their alliance. Though no nation in NEO is obliged to accept this offer, it is most certainly an offer worth considering.

On that note, anyone contemplating attacking a nation of NEO should consider that they are currently under the protection of TPF until the expiry of the 5 day grace period. After the 5 day grace period has expired, however, any nation remaining under the AA of NEO will no longer be under such protection.

This is an announcement that NEO has disbanded - NEO is dead.

As a side note - considering the circumstances, if any alliances out there are looking for new members, now would be a perfect time, if you're interested, in sending recruitment messages to anyone currently still in NEO.

Glad you chose this route instead of another. There's a time to run, a time to fight, and a time to die. This certainly was NEO's time to die as it was in the best interests of all of its members. Many alliances that disband in times of trouble I frown upon but this was the best path considering the circumstances. RIP
