I believe it is found to be patronising (when said by a man to a woman)

If people have sex, decapitate other people, or swear on TV/silver screen (usually in a fictional movie)....it's ok. When one news anchor slips...it's news. What idiotic double standards we adhere to.

And as for religious reasons, it might be considered a sin to curse, but nowhere in the Bible does it mention any specific definitions of cursing, so...

I love that I scanned that entire article and they didn't list the word said.

I think that's about all that needs to be said of how pathetic this is.

Everyone swears. You shouldn't judge anchors by higher standards because they're on TV.

Oh yeah, I was going to post about this yesterday but forgot. It's really hilarious footage.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=kr4AaMEvNwY <- No, it's not censored. You've been warned.

I watched that video about a dozen times last night.

Edit: Video w/ apology included

Psycho feministas have spent a lot of time and effort convincing those suffering from misplaced guilt otherwise.

It wasn't, it was just once again a person using something innocent (and in my eyes, quite kind considering other things girls have been called or could be) to gain the spotlight and make some ruckus. Imagine a national tragedy striking, not something small, but something huge. That would put our priorities back in order. While people are starving on the street we should not be worrying about how offensive "sweetie" is.

If sweetie is offensive, I'm suing Grandma.

This is retarded, if you're watching tv at 10:30 at night, you should be over the age of 13, and probably have heard worse than that at school.
