Mel Brooks is one of my favorite people in life. He is a straight up comedian. He is top 5 comedians if you ask me, up their with Robin Williams, Jeff Dunham (lol), The Blue Collar Comedy Tour, and others.
My favorite would be "Robin Hood Men in Tights" I loved it, when I was growing up me and my dad would watch it everytime we saw it on, we still get kicks out of it even after I have seen it at least 50 times.
My top 5 movies of Mel Brooks:
1. Robin Hood Men in Tights
2. Spaceballs
3. History of the World Part I
4. Blazzin Saddles
5. Dracula Dead and Loving it
hope you like this poll, I have honestly become addicted to his movies. I am buying this weekend: Dracula Dead and Loving it, and hopefully History of the World Part I, and Blazzin Saddles. I already have Robin Hood Men in Tights.

Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, and HotW for me. Though I haven't seen Silent Movie, Dracula, or all of the Producers...
I didn't like RH:MIT nearly as much as my top three. My favorite part of Frankenstein was the crazy Bavarian with the wooden arm.

He was an uncredited producer of 1980's "The Elephant Man".
Presumably he left his name off in order to avoid confusion that it was a comedy.
That being said, it's a far better film than any of the others.
For those where he was credited, I'd say "The Producers".
