A Treaty of Amity

Preamble
This Treaty of Amity is hereby signed by the Orange Defense Network and the Mushroom Kingdom in an open display of opened communication and friendship.

Article I
Both signatories agree that they are to remain independent and sovereign from one another. ODNers can do their own thing, and Shroom-heads can do their own thing as well.

Article II
Both signatories agree that open communication is of the utmost importance, and therefore they agree to do whatever is deemed necessary to maintain those lines of communication, whether it be through embassies, IRC or the occasional picnic. In addition, both signatories agree that insulting each other is bad, and therefore they shall refrain from doing so.

Article III
Both signatories agree that attacking each other just isn't cool, so there shall be no aggression between the two. Should a member nation of one signatory attack a member nation(s) of another, both signatories agree to work out an acceptable amount of reparations for the attacked party. Should the aggressor nation refuse punishment, s/he is to be tried under whatever judicial system their alliance holds.

Article IV
SPAIS ARE BAD, M'KAY? Neither signatory shall practice espionage against the other. Should either signatory come upon sensitive info, the receiving signatory agrees to share the info with the other. However, the source does not have to be disclosed.

Article V
Sometimes, things just don't work out. Should either signatory feel that this treaty is no longer needed, the canceling signatory agrees to give 72 hours notice before the terms of this treaty expire.
