"It has been noted by the government of Ile de Noir that the former government of the GSPLAJ has completely collapsed, and anarchy has consumed the region. Several foreign militaries are know to be operating in the former territory of GSPLAJ. No reliable reports as to the whereabouts or fate of it's former leader have been found. We would like involved nations to give us any recent information regarding this matter, the fate of the civilian population is of great concern to all charitable world leaders."
OOC- I know the nation was deleted. The RP thread on it sort of petered out. I'm just curious what the aftermath was, and who claims the region now. I saw Baron Uberstein's conference thread finally, and it was mentioned offhand, but they never really addressed it. /OOC

King Persia, on Apr 8 2008, 09:01 PM, said:
There is no Republic of persia left it's just a small group of terrorists after the bombs and Invasion.
As for Libya. All POW's captured by Kanteero have been released and some stayed.

La Gendarmerie Nationale of the RRDC, after securing these territories from GSPLAJ forces, relinquished control of the eastern half of this Zone of Control to Rebel Army. We recognize Rebel Army as the rightful claimant to and owner of this territory.
The western half of the zone south of the 27th Parallel is still being maintained by Calvinist peacekeeping forces. We are prepared to withdraw back to our own boundaries the moment a legitimate government over this region is established and recognized. In the meantime, the civilian population's needs in the Calvinist DMZ are being overseen as a joint effort of La Gendarmerie Nationale, and our Disaster Relief Agency, Presbyterian World Relief.
Several hundred Libyan Anglicans who had been caught up in the persecution have voluntarily relocated from former GSPLAJ territory, and have become citizens of the RRDC. Others are working along side Presbyterian World Relief in its efforts to help those still living in refugee camps. Our Disaster Relief Agency is striving to reestablish housing, water, and electricity services to the civilians within our Zone of Control. Our goal is to help as many as possible rebuild their lives in the aftermath of this crisis.
