An Announcement from the Ordinat of Andromeda
I'm very proud to announce that Andromeda has just broken a series of statistical boundaries - 11k ANS, 300k total strength, and 40 nukes.
In addition, Andromeda is now completely free of our reparations to NATO, and the rebuilding loans we took out in the aftermath of that incident (for more info, click here). Much love to NATO for their leniency, and actually reducing the total payment for us. You're as compassionate as you are sexy

I'd like to take a moment to talk about each of these people - they have been my backbone, my unconditional supporters, and I am truly honored to have them in this alliance. These are some of the most amazing people I have ever met.
Statesman28 - Statesman28 is a former Minister of Finance of Invicta, and he is the co-founder of Andromeda. He has been here with me from the beginning, since we first formed Andromeda. He was here when we were a two man alliance, when we got tech raided constantly, he was here when we merged with the Shadow Republic, he was here when Shadow Republic blew up, and not once has he ever doubted me, despite the hopeless situations that we have been through. Whenever I have asked him to trust me, he has. States, I could not do this without you, I absolutely could not.
MagicFriend - MagicFriend has been around since GWIII, and was a member of the Green Protection Agency until about two months ago. We met when he decided to come set up an embassy at Andromeda two days into the GPA/tC war. I found him to be an amazing friendly, intelligent, and kind person, and when he decided to resign from the GPA, I offered him a place in Andromeda. As the war dragged on, our relationship grew as Magic became involved in Andromeda (though not officially a member until the GPA PoWs were released). Since officially joining, Magic has continued to prove himself as a competent and mature leader. He is an excellent diplomat, financial genius, wonderful mentor, and my official hippie. He is also a tiny storm in my teacup. Magic, it's a pleasure to have you here.
Lord Strahd - Lord Strahd and I worked together in Invicta, where he was a Secretary of State. Strahd is a former leader of Novus Orbus, and a highly skilled military commander. Strahd is currently the oldest member of Andromeda (OOC: seriously, he's 25, isn't that when social security kicks in
), and I have a deep respect for him, and his long CN experience. Strahd is one of my top advisers, and enjoys slapping people with fish. We're really glad you're here, Strahd.WithInTheRoom - WithInTheRoom is a former member of UNH (I think...) and a dozen other alliances whose names I can't remember. WITR is our top recruiter, silly guy, and occasional total genius. He's had a number of great ideas, and he's furthered this alliance greatly. WITR's become a respected part of our community, even if he is a little crazy.
Yo Mama - Yo Mama, or Austin1007, as he goes by on IRC, was a member of the Shadow Republic at the time of Operation CHLORINE. He had been our head recruiter before CHLORINE, and recently rejoined us as our military second-in-command. He enjoys driving me crazy, recruiting, driving me crazy, and refusing to capitalize things

Austin is an eager and intelligent part of our government, and we're quite happy to have him back with us.Warlocke - Warlocke is also a former member of the GPA, and another acquaintance I made during the war. He's one of our quieter nations, and his true passion is nation building - he is the most recent appointment to our government, and I have no doubt that he will greatly advance Andromeda.
Finally, (z0mg, Ephie ain't done yet), we'd like to thank some people outside of Andromeda:
- Rayvon, Rudeboy, Chief4Real, Kyber, Salt, Smooth, Ardus, Ulster, Applemonster - You all have been great mentors and protectors to us, and we've learned a lot from you. We've taken a lot of your time, and you've always been here for us. Seriously, much
. - Sir Galahad - Seriously, you're more active in Andromeda affairs than some of government .
- Arco, Lord Philip, DJPenguin, Beryl, Lord Boris - You five have been great councillors and friends to me - you've always been my fans, and you've always shown Andromeda lots of .
- Duncan, Pansy, Pam, Anu (Drake Cares), Kurushio and the rest of NATO - You've been so compassionate and helpful for us, I almost want to fight another war with you . I have to give special props here to Duncan, as you've always given me great advice. You're a stand up guy.
- GOD and CIS - Too many names for me to list here. You've been great allies thus far, and I hope to see our relationship continue to blossom.
- Z'had'um - Z'had'um - I do not have words to express how much your kind words, actions, and friendship has meant to me. When I had no where else to turn, you were there. You helped save this alliance, and you have spoken on my behalf many times. I am personally honored to offer you our Foreigners Medal of Distinction - you are more than deserving of it. I salute you, Z'had'um o/.
And finally, a note of clarification - Andromeda is officially a black and purple alliance. We strive to maintain a 40% purple, 50% black, 10% other ratio. We have a vested interest in both the black and purple sphere, and we have no wish to withdraw from either sphere. We would also like to note that we do not involve ourselves in team senate - we have little need for the drama, and we will never run a senate candidate on any sphere. Our members are free to vote as they wish, if they wish, and as often as they wish.

Kuros - Kuros has an anime obsession, and is British. This is epic win. Kuros is also our Justice, our first nuclear nation, and one of our top diplomats. He joined Andromeda after a random series of events, and we're all very happy to have him here
