Ive seen the full movie. It is very powerful, and really opened up my eyes as to what was happening, especially with the comparisons to the Nazi's and the Hitler Youth.

discuss. even if you agree, please try to watch the video

NOTE: this is not all muslims, ONLY radicals

The Radical Muslims are against Americans, but Christians are a very specified target. They want Christians dead, but also anyone who doesn't believen their ways, the radicals do anyways.

I hate radical Islamists, we got maniacs like them in Turkey as well, they gain around 15% traditionally in elections, though I think they only got around 10% last time because more are going toward the Moderate Islamist faction. Radical Muslims are against all against them, including other Muslims that are against them, not just Christians, back in the 80's their main enemy were the Soviets because the Soviets were closer to them and were Atheists.

They also hate Ataturk because he secularized our nation, they are some real !@#$%^&*...

My mom has some in her class (she teaches Turkish in Germany in school) and she has said that they have also called for the death of all in America, to which she was pissed and responded that her son is in America. They didn't respond...

They are cowards. They won't dare fight America in a fair battle, where they show their faces, they hide behind masks in terror videos, and think they are tough, they remind me of the KKK, they are only tough if its more of them than their victim. They don't scare me.

Sort of like the KKK but in the Middle East there are a couple million radical Islamists, far more than the KKK.

>.> It's called guerrilla warfare. Che Guevara used it, the French used it against the Nazis, the terrorists use it against us.

It's no more cowardly than bombing a city off the face of the Earth or using tanks.

*points down* Vlad makes a better point.

What is a 'fair' battle? Is America going to give up all of its military hardware and intelligence capabilities? Two leaders, two 18th century pistols, and five paces at dawn?

There is no such thing as a 'fair' battle; only different tactics suited to different resources. That isn't to say that you can't condemn certain tactics (and on that I would condemn both sides), but to call them cowards because they refuse to give up their tactical advantages and play directly into their enemy's advantages is silly. Not being stupid doesn't make you a coward.

Nah, a lot of them their cowards. They are outcasts from their society and can't make it and latch on to the first stupid concept they hear about, then blow up innocents for it.
Islamic extremism is not a mainstream movement.

A lot of people could be classed as 'cowards' regardless of their movement (if anyone could, it's such a subjective terms). I was speaking only on the matter of 'fair fights'. If you can class everyone who doesn't stand in an open field to get shot by the enemy as a coward, then you could class the entire American army as such. What are they doing hiding behind all that body armour anyway?

That's true, you can't be classified as a coward in a war on your desire to win a fight.

Now, in some cases, you can be by some people. I happen to think that fights for honor are stupid, but not everyone believes such things

Would be better for the general populations... in old Germany there would sometimes be "battles" fought that decide the winner not through fighting but through 2 leaders drinking it out, the last one standing gains the loyal vassalage of the other leader. That would be an interesting way to wage war, lol Bush drinking it out with Saddam and Bin Laden, winner take all! :P

Or at least those are stories that are sometimes told, not sure if it happened often but it happened at least once, note I am talking of middle age Germany and dark age Germany.

They can be epic sources of humor, though. Abraham Lincoln was challenged to a duel once (it never went down, don't they did cross state lines and meet in, I believe, Mississippi). His weapon of choice:

BROADSWORDS!

That's just awesome.

Or like in the return engagement series of Harry Turtledove novels, when General Patton challenged General Clarence Potter to a duel Potter chose flamethrowers at 10 paces.

Never went down.

That is just...not...true.

They 'hate' us because we are a secular society. They see us as amoral, because they are a very religious minority in a very religious area, they simply can't understand how you couldn't accept God. They look at our ridiculously liberal society (sexuality wise) and they see a lack of morals.

Just saying the truth, and that when you see it from this point of view instead of "you invaded our land 500 years ago!".

Fundamentalist Christians also have a terrorist weapon, it's called the US military, and it's far more dangerous than a few homemade rockets in Gaza.

Eullia, if that was true, those Ten Commandment display cases would've been solved a lot differently.
