Well, it has certainly been an interesting last few weeks for us at FEAR. That said, I come forth today to discuss one specific matter. Due to the concerns of many of FEAR’s members over recent events in regards to the Sons of Muspel, especially the thread released by SoM last night, which was taken by many including us at FEAR as a “come and get us” post and a thinly veiled bash against several alliances, especially The Phoenix Federation, FEAR began a vote last evening. It was obvious from the beginning of the vote what the outcome would be, but the vote was allowed to progress until quorum was reached.

At approximately 10:05 am this morning (CN time), Sons of Muspel was given notice, and in accordance with Article V of the Treaty of Amity between SoM and FEAR, the treaty has begun the 48 hour cancellation period. At 10:05 am on Wednesday, the treaty shall be completely terminated.

Furthermore, in light of recent events, I have ordered the FEAR Government and Foreign Affairs staff to go through and re-examine all treaties currently held by FEAR. Effective immediately, all treaties FEAR holds are considered to be under review. Further cancellations within the upcoming days and weeks are a strong possibility.

Wise FEAR you all not bad people, you just seemed to have rolled the dice and ended up with some bad allies. Allies who spy, plot on allies or demand most Planet Bob attack them do not good allies make.

In all seriousness, I know I haven't had the kindest of words for FEAR but this is an excellent decision and good timing.
