I came to have fun not fill out more paperwork than my last morgage application

Not really. Alliances need security too. You don't want the hassle, just be unalligned/red.

I don't know of any alliance signup that is more than 3 clicks and a few seconds typing out whether or not you're on a ZI list.

Either you're really lazy, really computer illiterate, or you've got something to hide.

You could just skip that part. Joining None requires nothing to be done

Exceptions for younger and smaller alliances may exist, but alliances wants dedicated members, so I'd say that you kinda have red team as the best option if you dont want to involve yourself enough to make the effort to fill in forms.
