Royal Order of St. George keeping TABs on Planet Bob or, Serving Up A Royal Order of Aquatic Brotherhood Treaty
Hear ye, Hear ye, and to all who see these presents:
Greetings
On this Twelfth Day of March, in the year of our Admin 2008, the sovereign Alliances of The Aquatic Brotherhood (TAB) and the Royal Order of St. George (ROG) do establish and proclaim as follows:
Whereas: TAB and ROG have become familiar to each other and,
Whereas: TAB and ROG desire to memorialize their mutual respect and,
Whereas: TAB and ROG agree that a formal Treaty is the best vehicle to demonstrate their solidarity,
In mutual recognition of good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency thereof being hereby acknowledged, TAB and ROG (the Parties): agree as follows:
Article I: Non Aggression and Friendship
Neither Party nor any of the members of such Party shall, at any time, engage in hostilities, war, espionage, or general $@!-hattery against the other Party or its members.
In the event that an individual nation or nations of either Party violates this Article, the undersigned agree to work together to remedy the situation by whatever means are deemed necessary.
Article II: Aid
The Parties, and their members, are encouraged, but not required, to provide economic and diplomatic aid when so requested by the other Party or their members.
Article III: Defense
In the event that another party (or parties) (collectively or singly, the Aggressor) takes aggressive military action or engages in espionage against one of the undersigned, the other Party shall provide economic, diplomatic and military support if requested. Additionally, an attack upon either Party shall constitute a �€œcasus belli�€� for the other Party.
Article IV: Aggressive Action
If a Party initiates aggressive military actions against another nation or alliance with just cause, the other Party may, at its sole discretion, provide any aid deemed necessary, including but not limited to engaging in the military action. The Parties agree to consult and coordinate prior to any such supportive attacks.
Article V: Sovereignty
The Parties recognize and respect that each is a sovereign alliance and shall not interfere with the internal affairs or political independence of the other Party. Statements regarding any such joint actions must be issued with the consent of both parties' respective governments.
Article VI: Termination
If either Party desires, for any reason to withdraw from this Treaty, they may terminate the agreement with seventy-two (72) hours prior written notice, or immediately upon mutual consent.
Any violation of Articles I, III, or V of this agreement shall give the non-violating Party cause to terminate this agreement immediately and without the required prior notice.
