In regards to testing the waters here. I've got a few questions which I'm sure will be answered with 'Go read this', or otherwise be answered in a way that might make most feel a bit silly or pushed around, but being a forum RPG veteran makes me all but immune to that sort of thing.

Which Alliances Roleplay their interactions? Is there a heavy influence/use of the In Character Forums? How many people actually Roleplay their nation and such here? Would you suggest it? Further still, in regards to alliances, I've received notes from a number of alliances with what seem to me to be (Ludicrous) offers of money to help jump start my economy, so long as I join their alliance. How many of those actually pull through?

This is the wrong forum, you want the question box.

But anyway, if you want a heavy roll play alliance I would suggest The order of the Black Rose, though it is extremely hard to get into.

The In-character forums are used quite a bit, though not many people role-play as nation rulers, it's more for alliance annoucements and such.

I can't say if I would suggest it or not, you'll have to find out if it's fun for you.

I'm not sure what you're asking in regards to money, but if you're asking if they money goes through then I would suggest too join a fairly powerful alliance and they'll make sure you get your money.

if an alliance offers you money to sign up you will almost certainly get.

and for better or worse RPing here is more or less dead. Some people still do a bit in "National and War" or "news reports" and every now and then a war declaration will have a bit in it, but thats it.

Exactly how many of the Alliance's tend to deliver on the monetary promises? I was told that very few do by one of the 'Alliance spam' Messages I got soon after joining.

(I wasn't sure if it was here or there, but figured because of the description it could fit herein too.)

You're pretty sure to get it with the larger alliances. The smaller ones not so much, I suppose.

Thanks for the information provided, this makes me almost want to just start my own organization, though I'm sure I'd be better off joining an established one.

You are much better off joining a larger one. Very often a newer player will start their own alliance, and it will fall through very quickly.

Without plenty of funds and some trusted allies, making an alliance is pretty much doomed to failure.

The only true RP forum left is the news reports.

What my question was, Small Frog, was more of 'whom actually -uses- it?'

I'm pretty sure these days it's generally more for individual's use rather than an alliance's use. I do it once in a while, it's fun to put together stories.

it depends most just give you money for joining, i consider those weaker alliance, the FCC you have to work to get into go through your 2 weeks probation, then build you up. Our MAB program hits you wiht 15 million before your anniversaries.

but we only do it for active members, we don't like the automatic aid offers because the people come in just for the money and aren't loyal.

anyways so to it being huge amounts, it's not really, i have over 200 million right now and you can only send out 15 mil every 10 days... i earn more than that in 10 days.

I'd say start with a smaller alliance rather than a larger one. Why? You're able to see better the processes of govt. and small alliances are very reputable: Gremlins, FCC, TOP, The Brigade, etc, etc. Many other small alliances that are good to their members. Large alliances, you'll get lost in the fact that you'll just be another member and you won't get the full experience.

How is Grämlins or TOP small? Grämlins is the 6th more powerful alliance and top is 7th or 8th IIRC.
