Statement from the Imperial Office of Information, News
and Stereotypical Anime Broadcasting

Official Statement by Emperor Loopstah
Overlord of all Fanservice, Pilot of the MechaGodKing Pantyflash, the Scourge of Evil, Master of the Neko-Valkyries and De-facto Grand Admiral of the Spyrateninja Air Armada.

It is with great pleasure that I announce to you, the people of Fanservice and the watching world that the future of Fanservice lies with clean and healthy Nuclear Power Generation, and that today marks the completion of Fanservice's first Nuclear Power Station, PowerPlant Zeta.
Operation began earlier today and the old Coal and Gas power stations have already entered Shutdown, from now on all the power needs of Fanservice will be met by PowerPlant Zeta and the soon to be opened PowerPlant Omega.

We follow this statement with a brief news article on the use of Nuclear Power within Fanservice.

Nuclear Power and Fanservice

Since the nuclear destruction that befell the old capital of Geo-Tokyo III during the long ago battle where our glorious Emperor first discovered his MechaGodKing, all nuclear research and development has been banned within the confines of Fanservice.

Recently however with the development of closer trade and aid ties with neighboring nations also living under the flag of BLEU, Fanservice has started to receive shipments of High-Grade Uranium Ore as part of it's mutually beneficial trade and assistance policy.

After many weeks of discussion and balloting the populace put forward their opinion that Nuclear Power would be a beneficial use of the Uranium resources now being stockpiled in the capital. 93% of the voting population agreed with the proposal, 5% disagreed with the proposal and 2% abstained from voting on the matter.

Here are some photographs take during the construction of PowerPlant Zeta:
(Note that due to National Security all images featuring the MechaGodKing Pantyflash have been classified, although 75% of the actual heavy work was performed by our Glorious Emperor and his MechaGodKing).

The Grand Opening

Finally after nearly a month of construction the grand opening of PowerPlant Zeta occured earlier today.

Attending this event were: Our Glorious Emperor Loopstah, Captain Bond of the Air Armada, Terra Aerith! Spokeswoman for the Neko-Valkyries and many of Fanservice's high and mighty movers in both business and politics.

A large number of the population turned out for the event and associated festivities. On offer was a fairground, the local High School set up a Culture festival based on the theme "Nuclear Power", there was a free banquet for all and all children got a free Plush toy of the new mascot of PowerPlant Zeta "Nuclear Nancy".

Specualtion for the Future

While the majority of the populace are pleased with this forward progression of Fanservice's power industry (as noted by the marked rise in average income reported by the Financial Agency), there are many others who wonder what the future holds with the memories of the dark times fading and many no longer interested in the past and the dangers faced by nuclear power. The pressure group "No to Nukes" has recently released a press release criticising our Glorious Emperor and hinting that naming our second nuclear plant "PowerPlant Omega" has many sinister conotations.
Emperor Loopstah has replied to these allegations stating that "Not everything named Omega is a weapon" and assured the populace that developing a nuclear arsenal would not be in Fanservice's best interests at this present time and reminded everyone to take their regulation tablets as all good citizens should.

As always we put our trust in our Glorious Emperor and his MechaGodKing to protect us and our nation from evil and filler episodes.

All Hail Emperor Loopstah, "Go! Go! Sticky Love! Super Robot! Electro Burning! Go! Go! You Get Win!"
