From the desk of the Imperator of SPQR

Tonight myself and my Minister of War, Teh1337Guy, noticed the blitz on GPA with glee. The history between SPQR and GPA is not quite as vivid as that between most of tonight's aggressors, but they have wronged us quite grievously over the past two-plus months. The two of us spotted a GPA nation with two open slots, and promptly attacked, yelling SHAZAAAAM all the way.

Soon we were contacted by Valhallan leadership that we stole their target. Realizing that I just made a grave error and shot my load of cruise missiles before it was time, we started apologizing. Collectively, 1337 and myself facepalmed, said "mea culpa" until we turned blue, and tried to blast our target as hard as we could to make up for it.

So I exaggerated on the first two.

Anyway, I would like to issue a formal apology to Valhalla for letting my raging GPA blood-lust cloud my better judgement and being a general -block. No harm intended, sorry guys. We'll look up one of those treatments they advertise in the paper so next time, everyone is pleased.

EDIT: SPQR is going to support our protector, Sparta. Ergo, we are not in a declared state of war with the GPA, though individual requests by members to attack GPA may be granted once permissions have been checked out to avoid a repeat of this situation.

You're right, I forgot to clarify:

SPQR is going to support our protector, Sparta. We are not in a declared state of war with the GPA, though individual requests by members to attack GPA may be granted once permissions have been checked with other alliances.

We just got ahead of ourselves.

Well, the nations of Kings Heights and Defender are then at war with the GPA. Other member nations of SPQR are not. That any better?

We're actually putting a lot of effort in to make up for the aforementioned error, just we aren't going to get the rest of the alliance involved where we're neither wanted nor needed. If 1337 and myself could get out of this war, we would, to get out of the way.

We just hate GPA and got trigger happy when we saw the DoWs fly. A rookie mistake I'm ashamed to have made.

After looking at the public logs of Valid and SPQR, I realized that it was only a given amount of time till GPA did something incredibly stupid. I mean threatening a 40 man Alliance, GPA IS SOOOOO BIG NOW.
