I live in PA and I was stung by a wasp in January. :jihad:


And, yeah, it was in the 40/50s yesterday, so some bugs woke up early here.

I think the book idea is a good one, that or try to shoo them outside. More than anything I hate getting stung by a wasp. :angry:

And, yeah, it was in the 4040s yesterday, so some bugs woke up early here.

Well...we've been having weird weather the past couple of weeks. It was extremely cold out West last week or the week before (it hit -59 Celsius with the windchill in Uranium City) and there was an ice storm in PEI. Meanwhile, it's all melting here in Southern Ontario, which is, of course, just after we got a snow storm on Friday.

Do you have any wasp or insect spray you could kill them with? If not, just use something like a book or fly-swatter. Chances are they're not as active during this time of the year. They should be slower and easier to kill.

As long as they're not clustered together but still spread out enough that the book doesn't get 'em all, a book works. Keep a can of aerosol of any kind (preferably flammable) nearby in case you miss.

Well, if you can find a nest (outside), there are sprays to kill them and the like. Inside, yeah I'd go with the large book idea. Just watch yourself.
