Common decency appears to be a depleted resource on today’s Planet Bob, as displayed by the dubious actions of many so called upstanding alliances in recent times. Despite being surrounded by such, Polaris and her allies have always stood for a straightforward and respectful manner in conducting themselves. Whilst we may object to the manner in which other alliances conduct themselves, we respect their sovereignty and do not attempt to dictate to others how they should pursue relations. A line is drawn when this unbecoming behaviour is directed towards Polaris and her allies. It is not something we shall ever tolerate or forget.
War is an act I don’t take lightly and am reluctant to make unless I believe it to be justified and necessary. On that note, recent events and actions regarding a certain alliance have convinced me that such an act is entirely appropriate.
As the majority of Planet Bob seems to already know, the alliance in question is the North Atlantic Defense Coalition. Many of you are no doubt curious as to why BLEU would move to strike what has been historically one of the most peaceful alliances within the Cyberverse. This situation could have been avoided if the NADC had maintained such neutral activities. Unfortunately this is not the case.
The NADC has conducted itself in a manner that has not impressed Polaris or her allies but I will not list all these incidents for they are of minor note. There are three major incidents worthy of interest though:
1. A NADC member aided an enemy of Polaris, contributing to said enemy’s war effort against Polaris. Whilst reasonable reparations were negotiated, the NADC failed to pay these within the generous time of ten days.
2. Another NADC nation launched spy attacks upon our close allies and destroyed nuclear equipment
3. Finally, the New Polar Order has suffered 30+ coordinated espionage attacks, destroying a large portion of our nuclear stockpile. This was later to be determined as the actions of the NADC.
It is somewhat unnerving that an alliance that has prided itself in being neutral and upstanding will show us a face of genuine interest in friendship whilst secretly plotting to undermine the military of such a potential friend. Due to these actions of espionage Polaris considers the Friendship Pact between itself and NADC null and void.
Such acts of aggression are not treated lightly by BLEU and thus a state of war now exists between the North Atlantic Defense Coalition and the alliances known as Blue Leadership Ensuring Unity.
