I never hooked up my 360, but...

Is it the correct signal? Can the wireless router for the 360 even accept the type of signal your computer gives off?

It was working yesterday. And I don't see any reason it wouldn't accept a signal from a router.

Just keep trying. When my IP address fails, I just keep trying. Works sooner or later

Well, for some internet connections the signal it sends out cannot be accepted by some machines.

If it happens again, either restart your router, or keep trying to connect to it. I recommend rebooting your router and modem 1-2 times a week. It'll help your signal, as sometimes it just needs to refresh itself. Remember, power both off, cycle modem back on after 30 seconds, wait for full modem boot, and then cycle back on the router.

Or just make another thread and have Kaiser_Jacob post in it.

Are you connecting via Ethernet, or using a wireless adapter for the 360?

Who's Beyong?

Anyway, I recomend you just plug it in with the cable that comes with the 360. Wireless connections are messy, avoid them when possible. Just put it in a phone plug or in the back of your wireless router.

Not everyone has their router in the same spot as their 360. Furthermore, a phone jack is different from an ethernet jack. Wouldn't work if you had done that.
